News NPC Policy
We know that sometimes referencing a FC is necessary to add a little something to a scene. We only ask that you follow a few general guidelines:
If the FC mentioned is played, don't dictate that FCs actions. For example: If a friend asks if you've seen Draco Malfoy recently, it's quite all right to say that you have, but don't say that you saw him hexing first years unless you actually /did/ ICly see him doing as much.
If a FC isn't played ... don't dictate that FCs actions, though you can take a little more freedom than if the character were played. For example: You can say you saw Dean Thomas drawing, or talking to Seamus - Dean does those things. But as a general rule, don't make an unplayed FC say/do anything that would require our giving an interested player background information to play the characters. We prefer them to start with a completely clean slate.
If you need a FC NPCed for some reason, DO NOT do so yourself. Please ask someone on staff.
