News Houses
The four Houses of Hogwarts are Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. The following are a list of GENERAL traits, as per House.

• Gryffindor : brave, bold, impulsive, loyal
• Hufflepuff : faithful, steady, simple, helpful
• Ravenclaw : clever, studious, reserved, intellectual
• Slytherin : sly, cold, manipulative, proud, ambitious

These are archetypes, and kept fairly simplified. They are not by any means the 'only' traits a member of a given House can have, and the waters can be muddied a bit. HOWEVER :

If you are uncertain of how a member of a House ought to be played, ask for help from staff. Similiarly, as already stated, we are NOT accepting applications for PCs who are members of one House but act like (or 'belong') in another. So no bravely virtuous Slytherins who only want to do the right thing, no wild and crazy partying Ravenclaws who want to get into fights all the time, and so forth.
